Intended for use with plaster board or acoustical tile ceilings, the system retracts into the ceiling when not in use leaving only a 4" (10 mm) diameter cover visable. As needed the BusPort receptacle is unlocked, slides down and locked into position 14" (36 mm) below the ceiling.

A single BusPort can carry up to three 20 amp electrical circuits at 120, 230 or 277 volts. In straight-run or grid configurations the system can be fed with up to six 20 amp circuits every 10 feet (305mm) or as required.

BusPort features dual AC receptacles and can support, power and transmit signals for audio/video equipment via the optional 4-plug AV cavity for S-video, coaxial and optical cables. Also, Internet capable for CAT-5 and WiFi networking.

For support use in a multi-unit layout, a non-electrical model is available.
